Series Info: Young Dracula is a British children's fantasy television series airing on CBBC, loosely based on the children's book by Michael Lawrence. Directed by Joss Agnew, the first series was broadcast in 2006, and the second series, which started in late 2007, Concluded in early 2008. Count Dracula, a single father, moves to Britain from Transylvania with his two kids, Vlad and Ingrid.The story revolves around Vlad wanting to fit in with his classmates in his new school rather than sucking their blood as his father wants him to. Vlad befriends another outsider named Robin who wants to become less like the popular crowd and preferably more vampiric.
Episode Summary:
Chaos has been caused throughout the school due to Vlad going on blood-thirsty rampage. At first the count starts enjoying the fact that his son is finally acting like a true vampire but after Vlad pushes his family aside to become more powerful he finds the acting arrogant and decides to try and stop this. Also trying to stop Vlad is his sister Ingrid, who has realised he is stronger than her and tries to stake him whilst he isn't looking. As well as this, Wolfie, despite being only four, has also had enough, and, taking Vlad's hand, angrily bites it, causing Vlad to cry out in pain and Wolfie, still biting his hand, is sent flying across the room, before crashing into the wall with a thump. Vlad escapes and finds Erin as he tries to bite a breather but this urges him to bite her but his feelings take over and after knowing what he has become he flies off in fit of sorrow.
